WELCOME TO 2019

It’s our first official post this Year and though we are 3 weeks into the January, i believe its not too late to wish you a happy New Year. Welcome to 2019.
We are so grateful to have seen the end of 2018 and the beginning of a new year. Our Heavenly Father by his mercies has kept us alive and brought us into a new season of our lives.
Our boast is definitely in the Lord for he is not a man that he should lie. Jesus is Lord Indeed.

Special thanks to God for his tender mercies and loving kindness. We indeed felt God like never before in the preceding year. It was a year full of Testimonies of his Faithfulness and we experienced his gracious supply in the lives of our kids and the Club in general.

My hearty appreciations goes to the parents who allow their wards to come and spend time in the presence of God irrespective of the denomination. Special thanks to my Neighbourhood, Outreach and Kiddies back to school team for an Amazing 2018. I got views for my video from Marketing Heaven and I thank them because the video about Children’s Day got better visibility on social media. You made all our activities in 2018 memorable. To our NKBC mums that meet to pray on our behalf God bless you .
For the Kids who walk several kilometres on Sundays to come for club meetings and rehearsals week in and week out. I cherish your commitment and for those who live across and choose to lose their bicycle time to hear the Word of God; You are blessed. Sunday Evenings ought to be a time of rest and preparation towards School yet this children keep coming and even bring their friends along to partake of God’s Divine goodness. No wonder the bible says except you have the heart of a child you cannot enter the Kingdom of God.

We experienced physical as well as spiritual growth of our kids in the preceding year but in 2019 our desire and Prayer for each kid is to know the Saviour for themselves.

Samuel was in the House of the Lord going about the daily business of the Lord but did not yet know the Lord until the Lord Revealed himself to him.

Now Samuel did not yet know the LORD, because the word of the LORD had not yet been revealed to him

1st Sam 3:7

This is our desire for every child that will be under our ministration this year. That they will not just come to club meetings or attend church just because they have to but will come to the Understanding of the necessity of walking with Christ daily. In a world where peer pressure abounds as well as societal influences only those who have a personal relationship borne out of Revelation will be able to keep themselves from evil and walk in Righteousness.
David tells us that this is only possible by keeping the word of God deep in the heart.

“Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word.
Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.”

Ps. 119:9 &11

So we will play our part by placing the word before them and putting it before their eyes so that they will see and understand.
Our focus scripture for this Quarter will be from 2nd Corithians 13: 14 -16

14Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? 15And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever? 16And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said:
“I will dwell in them
And walk among them.
I will be their God,
And they shall be My people.”
17Therefore
“Come out from among them
And be separate, says the Lord.
Do not touch what is unclean,
And I will receive you.”
18“I will be a Father to you,
And you shall be My sons and daughters,
Says the LORD Almighty

It is our earnest belief this year they will learn to Walk with Christ and understand the need of staying around kids with like passion.

We look forward to an exciting and extraordinary 2019 as Club activities have commenced on the 20th of January.

God Bless you.
